Yea I understand that, there isn't much adrenalin. But the whole atmosphere and adventurous feeling in xc is pretty cool. There definitely are better disciplines like dh and street, but xc can be pretty cool. XC is also pretty good for dh, because you need have strong legs to make much power. Take Pottie for instance, he can give insanely good power and with that fitness he'll smoke any lycra-cladded, carbon fueled xc guy on a climb, on his dh bike. Are you racing at jonkers this weekend?
